It can be cook using sliced tomatoes but if you want to make it more "maasim" I recommend using tomato sauce, like what I did on this :)

Dad's Chicken Arroz Caldo

I love rainy days, I love the cold weather. And because of this, I'm craving for some hot soups, the Filipino way. I asked dad to cook arroz caldo, and he never ever disappoints me. (Perfect rainy day food!). It's one of his specialty. I'm too spoiled :))

*insert title here*

I miss eating Choco Fondue! Since I'm craving it for the longest time, I just made a dupe for it. Nutella! @.@ Just to satisfy myself. Not bad :))

I know, on the first glance, you will see mangoes, but naah it's papaya plus a Redondo Waffer stick! I don't care if I still have cough, but I just can't resist it!

My weakness??? Too much sweets :)♥

How I made my Salad Meal and Avocado Shake

Ever wonder how I made these yummy slash healthy treats? :))

It's very Simple! I call this Buttered Chicken on a Salad with Avocado Smoothie. It feels like you're dining on a fancy restaurant or any hotel, you can save money! You don't need to go to any resto just to eat this, you can do it by yourself!:). It's  a perfect meal for those person who loves salads, or veggies, and Fruits!! If you want to satisfy your tummy more, you can eat it with rice (if you're not on a diet).

For the Salad Plate
What you will need:
-Lettuce
-Butter
-Chicken
-ground pepper
-salt
-tomatoes
-boiled egg
-sliced mangoes

Procedures:
1. Wash the lettuce first and let them dry.
2. Slice chicken into smaller pieces. Marinate them with pepper and salt. Here I used Garlic & Salt powder and ground pepper.
3. Heat the frying pan then put the butter on it, and let it melt. (oh the smell is so nice!). Here, we use butter instead of cooking oil. This will add taste to your chicken. :)
4. Fry your chicken until they become brownish, and depending on your desired crispiness.
5. Spread Lettuce on the plate. Put the fried chicken on it with the butter oil.
6. Slice egg, tomatoes and mangoes, and arrange them on plate.

Now You're done! :)

For the Dressing
What you will need:
-Mayonnaise
-Banana Ketchup
-1/2 teaspoon of sugar
-ground pepper

Procedures:
1. Combine mayonnaise and ketchup in a bowl. Mix very well until it becomes orange.
2. Add little amount of sugar and ground pepper. Mix it again.

There are other ways of making  a Salad dressing, but here I just made it very simple. Good enough for this :)

Now, we're finished with the food, our meal will not be complete without a drink. Here I made Avocado Shake. I've been craving to drink it for a long time, it's my favorite fruit, not just it's so yummy, but Avocado also contains lots of Vitamins, super healthy!

What you will need:
-1 Avocado fruit
-Sugar. (Here I used Condensed milk to make it more creamy)
-Evaporated Milk
-Crushed Ice

Procedures:
1. Slice and peel off your Avocado. Remove the seed.
2. Put it in the blender then add sugar, milk and crushed ice.
3. Start to blend, then serve.

Tadaaaa!! You're meal is now ready to eat :))

ENJOY!! :))

Lunch to school!

It's my first time to bring lunch to school ever since I entered college because it sucks to bring lunch box since I'm only commuting to school. It doesn't fit in my bag as well. Not like when I was in Elementary and High school, our kasambahay or sometimes my dad, brought my lunch, fresh and hot :). My school then was walking distance from our home, that's why. Also, I thought it's shameful to have a lunch box with you if you are a college student, hahaha. For me, it's so high-school! But, I saw few students doing it, mostly they are freshmen. Who cares, I'm seniors! LOL.

Mom was the only one who prepared my lunch, but since she is not around, I made my own.

Looks so yummy! And it's very healthy (balanced meal). :)) It's a salad, and of course I made its Dressings.

Will do this again next time. :)) I'm loving it! Really!
